As we rode into a small town we found a pizza shop in the corner, next to Lidl so we decided to have pizza for lunch: sure enough, the forecast was accurate and as we sat there safely it started raining and finished within 45 minutes, allowing us to continue<\/p>\n<p>The riding continued for two hours to our Warmshowers host for the night, Heidi, in a small town called Weener<\/p>\n<p>Heidi was wonderful and generously offered us her house and a room to sleep. We really enjoyed talking to Heidi and were shown around town after dinner. It is amazing how much you see when you &quot;get behind the scenes&quot;.\u00a0 Saturday morning Heidi had to leave by 8am and allowed us to stay in the house with the keys &#8211; just needed to lock when we left!
