What a (good) day!
Woke up to sunshine and when we set off we had a little tail wind down to the ferry. Great start!
This tail wind would continue all day!!!!! Unheard of in the cycling world….hehe
Better still it got stronger throughout the day
As the riding was good and realitively easy we decided to push on..
….nec minute….the gravel path turned into a sand trap and continued for 3 km….
Got through this and continued
Some spectacular coastline scenery
Decided to ride 10 km gravel towards end of day to avoid road and this was quite hard…
Reached our shelter site at 7.45 pm after 103 km!!!!
Toilets and showers available at the little fishing port. One small problem – hot water for shower required Danish coins of which we have none. So cold showers for all of us….very refreshing but at least we felt quite clean afterwards…
All in all a great day!!!!
