Woke up to a magical morning in the forest….
Started from our camp site in the forest and within one hour we had cycled through some dense forest and open farmlands. Amazing change in scenery in such a short time
The route continued to impresse and was easy to ride… not much undulation
As we rode into Lokken Candy went to change onto the food path and her right foot did not want to come out of the clip, so over she went. Sideways fall and her head hit the grass on the side. Luckily she was Ok and no grazing… There is a reason for wearing a helmet!!!!
We cycled slowly the last 600 m and had our lunch overlooking the beach. It was decided that we would not ride any more today and started looking for accommodation. Very hard to find as prime holiday season but got a tent site on a huge caravan park 10 min up the road
After setting up our tents it was off to the extremely long beach…massive and very big sand dunes
Candy assures us she is fine!!!!
Quiet dinner and Krister went to watch the world cup semi final…
We are looking forward to riding along this beach tomorrow as it is part of the trail…
