Our last day of riding on continental Europe for the time being…but we are coming back!
Realised that we couldn’t make it to the ferry in 1 1/2 days with all the headwind so decided on a short ride today to Haarlem from where we can take the train to the ferry on Friday morning…..
Walked around Alkmaar for am hour in the morning and it was a very pretty place – must come back
An easy 3 hour ride (better than we had expected despite the forecast) and had booked a hotel as rain was expected…
Walked around Haarlem 2 hours and really enjoyed it
England here we come!!!!
